Sugar Buzz Pastry
is the creation and passion of Executive
Pastry Chef Geoffrey Blount. Started
in 2002, Sugar Buzz Pastries were an instant hit with the
local community and has quickly become a favorite throughout
the southeast. Geoff has been
featured in a number of newspapers and publications and has won
numerous awards. Sample any of his creations and it's easy to see
what all the "Buzz" is about. His desserts are
incredibly beautiful and offer the sophisticated scents and
flavors of French
pastries, sumptuous cakes, delicate
croissants, muffins, scones, turnovers, cookies, decadent tarts
and Geoff's specialty, a variety of luscious Oatmeal Fudge Bars!
Geoff's years of culinary training and experience have made him
an award winning pastry chef and combined with his passion for
excellent food, attention to detail and his warm, friendly
nature make Sugar Buzz Pastries special and delicious!

Geoffrey Blount
Geoffrey
is the owner and Executive Sous Chef/Pastry Chef of Sugar Buzz
Pastries. His past work experience includes Executive Pastry Chef at the
Renaissance Nashville/ Baltimore Harborplace Hotel, Assistant Pastry
Chef at Magnolia's in Franklin, TN, and Executive Pastry Chef at Chef's
Market in Nashville, TN. Geoffrey has had a passion for food ever since
he was a child. He is a member of the U.S Pastry Alliance and has
competed and won in numerous culinary events.
Geoffrey graduated from the Central Piedmont
Community College in 1996. He has an AAS in Food Service Management with
an emphasis in Bread and Pastry Production. In 1999 Geoffrey went to the
French Pastry School where he attended the following courses: Plated
Desserts Class, Chocolate Center Piece Class, Sorbets and Ice Cream
Class, and Sugar Decoration Class.
